Examines whether medical articles published in journals using blinded peer review receive significantly more or fewer citations than those published in journals using nonblinded peer review. Use of citation analysis to evaluate the relative efficiency of double-blind versus single-blind refereeing of medical articles; Comparison of type I error between blinded and nonblinded peer review.
