Abstract
- The article discusses teaching strategies for planetarium visits of pre-school children. It notes several characteristics of pre-school children that planetarium educators need to consider including high level of curiosity and short attention span. The author suggests giving children enough time to explore the planetarium and limiting presentation time to 15 to 20 minutes. It cites the need for teachers to use appropriate language and injecting humor to keep children engaged.
