Tries to offer data on the image of women in the Andalusian (Arabic and Hebrew) poetry by searching in the cultural diversity of that period for a source of enrichment and making a comparative study on how both literatures have dealt with the visualization of women within their environment. Based on the analysis of women's relations with their environments in poems from several poetic genres from the X to XIII centuries, a set of images emerge on women as mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and girlfriends.
