Abstract
- Reports on the preventive treatment of neonatal jaundice with tin-mesoporphyrin (SnMP) or other synthetic haem analogues. Usefulness in developing countries where it is not possible to provide phototherapy or exchange transfusions; Test on 517 preterm babies born at Athen's Metera Maternity Hospital; Efficacy of the injections; Photosensitivity as a side-effect.
