Abstract
- Shows that the transduction current in rat olfactory receptor cells is initiated by cyclic-nucleotide-gated channels. Olfactory function in mammals and amphibians; Absence of chloride- (Cl) channels in mammals; Nonlinear amplifications of the transduction signal as a function of the Cl-channel.
