Abstract

Reports on findings that the Manson asteroid crater in Iowa predated the mass extinction of the dinosaurs in the cretaceous period. Chicxulub crater on the Yucatan coast in Mexico as the only asteroid landing which occurred at end of the Cretaceous era; Magnetic age of the Manson rocks.
