Investigates the response processes and operation of the standing and walking of stick insects Carausius morosus. Role of the trochanteral campaniform sensilla (CS) in the control of posture and locomotion; Reflex effects of troncharental CS; Proposal of a negative feedback servo system that regulates cuticular stress; Extension of results regarding increased load during walking.
