Abstract

Studies the effect of hyperosmotic stress on tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) expression. Treatment of endothelial and Hela cells; Dose-dependent decrease in cell volume; Increase in t-PA secretion; Absence of change in intracellular Ca2+ concentration, 1,4,5-triphosphate or diacylglycerol content.
