Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the Pacific Northwest FP&A Summit held on November 21, 2013 which include the symposium on best practices hosted by Starbucks and the Assoaciation for Financial Professionals, the presentation of Microsoft Corp.'s finance managers Makiko Miyauchi and Jay Thacker on the use of business tools for decision-making during meetings and the creation of shareholder value. Also mentioned is the advantages of the Power BI and ARRT tools for financial institutions.
