Abstract

The article reflects on the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Collaborative Award in Science and Engineering (CASE) studentship project in Great Britain. Some of the issues related to the said programme are discussed which include its funding and the changing policy within the location of the school involved in the project. Also provided is information regarding the impact of these issues on the work of embedded researchers and learned institutions.
