Abstract
- The article looks at small foreign direct investment (FDI) flows between China and technologically advanced countries. Topics discussed include China's quid pro quo policy that makes technology transfer a precondition of foreign companies operating in the country and patents first filed in China from 2005 to 2010. Also mentioned is the impact of the policy on the country's FDI partners.
