- Studies the role of Doa locus of the Drosophila melanogaster in the expression of the copia retrotransposon. Increase in quantities of transcripts in both long-terminal repeats (LTRs) of the element of copia element; Structural alteration of those initiating 5'LTR; Doa mutation homozygosity; Modulation of severity of copia-induced mutations.
