- Examines the rising costs of disposing of Edmonton's sludge from Clover Bar Sludge Lagoons. Ontario-based Nordion International Inc., has proposed drying the sludge at a new recycling facility and then irradiating it with a gamma ray-emitting isotope called cobalt 60.
