Abstract: The article focuses on the discussions of Laura Parish of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Council and Adi Nell of Medivet at the BVA Congress at the London Vet Show on November 22, 2013, regarding practices in the improvement of work-life balance of veterinaries and employees. Nell discusses important aspects to feel valued an employee such as dealing with protection of psychological contract. Parish discusses professional time management from employees' point of view.
