The article consists of an introduction to the achievements of Canadian literature in 2012 and a detailed bibliographical list, including bibliographies published serially, bibliographies of individual writers, and research aids. Topics include national literary awards such as the Governor General’s Literary Award given to Linda Spalding for her book "The Purchase" as well as the publishing of literature works during the year such as the book "Dear Life" by famous Canadian author Alice Munro.
