Abstract
- The article discusses the importance of proportional reasoning in mathematics. It explores the role of challenging tasks in mathematics learning. It introduces a task by discussing the context of music cards and exploring students' experiences with similar cards. It also describes the appropriate as well as inappropriate solution methods for the said task.
