Abstract
- The article offers the author's insights on the blues haiku of poet Sonia Sanchez. The author states that the poems of Sanchez are according on the segregation she had to survive, and the cause of her writings develop from the woes of African Americans. The author mentions that the blues haiku of Sanches presents her identity and explores the history of slavery.
