Abstract
- The article presents the authors' comment on carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), the most common entrapment neuropathy caused by compression of the median nerve within the carpal tunnel (CT). Clinical history, physical examination, and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) are used for diagnosis. The best parameter for follow-up after local steroid injections (LSI) in CTS is distal motor latency. There is a need for future studies to increase the follow-up of patients among different populations.
