Abstract: The article discusses the opening of U.S. retail stores on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013. It is said that the retail sales associated with Black Friday have partly moved to Thanksgiving, while many U.S. teenagers have been attracted to the sales despite traditional family meals on the holiday.
