Abstract

Highlights: [•] RBAC and SSRG methods have been used for thyroid nodule detection. [•] Preprocessed MR images are segmented and cross sectional nodule areas are obtained. [•] Accuracies are given by ZSI and corr. by comparing them with manually obtained areas. [•] RBAC and SSRG method yielded average ZSI values of 0.938 and 0.906 respectively.
