Análisis del comportamiento del viento en el sector norte del periurbano de Bahía Blanca, Argentina.

The wind is one of the elements of the weather that most affect the population in Bahia Blanca city, predominating most part of the year. Due to its high temporal and spatial variability is essential to know their maximum speeds, directions and predominant distribution. The aim of this paper is to analyze winds behavior in its two dimensions, speed and direction, in suburban north part of Bahia Blanca city. Recorded data were analyzed by two weather stations installed in the study area for the period March 2011-September 2011. It was obtained media values of speed, frequent directions, maximum gusts and was characterized the seasonal, monthly and daily behavior. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
