Abstract

The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the 2013 case Clapper v. Amnesty International USA which deals with limits to federal court jurisdiction under Article III of the U.S. Constitution and challenges to government surveillance activities and policies. According to the article, the court determined that the plaintiffs, a group of attorneys and human rights organizations, lacked standing to challenge Section 702 of the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.
