Abstract
- The article discusses racial discrimination in America in relation to the U.S. Supreme Court's reported treatment of the nation's Voting Rights Act of 1965, focusing on American constitutional law, the rights of black Americans, and the requirement that certain jurisdictions in the U.S. must seek approval from the nation's Department of Justice prior to altering voting procedures. The author argues that American states should be required to disclose alterations of voting rules or practices.
