Abstract
- Highlights: [•] A new sonocatalytic system was developed for oxidative desulfurization of diesel. [•] The sonocatalytic process provided higher efficiency contrary to the silent system. [•] CCD method was applied to investigate the effects of main process variables. [•] Ultrasonication accelerated ODS process interestingly for high sulfur concentration. [•] Ultrasonication significantly promoted the catalyst stability and properties. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
