Abstract
- Highlights: [•] A novel LDLa domain-containing C-type lectin was firstly identified from E. sinensis. [•] EsCTLDcp was regulated by LPS, PGN, S. aureus and A. hydrophila. [•] The recombinant EsCTLDcp could interact with VP24, an envelope protein of WSSV. [•] rEsCTLDcp could aggregate pathogens and bind to microorganisms, LPS and PGN. [•] rEsCTLDcp could clear virulent Gram-negative bacterium, V. parahaemolyticus in vivo. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
