Abstract
- Presents the results after two months of condom distribution in New York City's schools--the first such large-scale effort in the nation. The number of students asking for condoms appears modest, and it may be that the condom program has heightened the fear of AIDS and caused many to abstain from sex altogether. Or perhaps students feel uncomfortable asking teachers.
