Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 34-year-old man suffering from chylothorax. The patient was presented at the emergency department of the hospital with a stab wound on the neck. He underwent a chest X-ray and a computed tomography angiogram, which revealed a pleural effusion on the left side of the chest. The patient was diagnosed with a chylothorax that was caused due to a penetrating trauma to the neck.
