Abstract: The article presents a calendar of events related to the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) including the 2014 Southern Section Meeting, the 2014 Western Section Meeting and the 2014 ASAS Northeastern Section Meeting and also offers news briefs related to the society including starting a animal scientist classroom for students of ages 6-11 years, support to ASAS for society's membership and sharing of news with ASAS members.
