Abstract
- Focuses on a high-density server concept dissipating a nameplate power of 700 watts derived from numerical simulation and experimental verification. Use of a ducted radial blower, conventional heatsinks and a partitioned airflow management strategy; Air mover design considerations and the performance of radial blowers; Advantages of close collaboration between system architects and thermal analysts throughout the design process.
