Abstract
- Highlights: [•] We assess the trends in the prevalence of childhood disability in Taiwan. [•] We obtained data on cases 3–17 years of age from the national disability registry. [•] We calculated the prevalence and the proportion in all disabilities combined for each disability category. [•] The prevalence of all disabilities combined increased constantly from 2000 to 2011. [•] Intellectual disability contributed most cases, and autism spectrum disorders is an emerging problem. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
