Abstract
- In the present investigation data were collected from a stratified random sample of 200 college students by using Emotional Intelligence test and Self-Esteem Inventory. The two-tailed test of significance for difference between means and Pearson's product moment correlations were the statistical techniques used in addition to computation of vital statistical indices. The result showed that no differential effect of gender on the basis of emotional intelligence and self-esteem. Whereas highly and significant correlation was found to between emotional intelligence and self-esteem. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
