Abstract

Highlights: [•] We report VLE data at 101.3kPa for mixtures of ethanol, water, and 1,3-propanediol. [•] The VLE data were correlated by the Wilson, NRTL, and UNIQUAC models. [•] The ternary VLE data were predicted from binary VLE data using the three models. [•] The VLE effect of 1,3-propanediol on the azeotropic ethanol+water mixture was studied.
