Abstract: The article discusses the highlights of the virtual event "The Digital Shift (TDS): Reinventing Libraries" that was held on October 16, 2013. The event was participated by several individuals including Digital Public Library of America founding director Dan Cohen and Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) director Susan Hildreth. Cohen emphasized the importance of beta testing and experimentation.
