Abstract

The article offers the author's insights on the advantages of reading on paper than electronic-reading (e-reading) due to the rising technological innovations. It states that touchscreens of tablet computers and other mobile devices may inhibit comprehension and more cognitively and physically taxing. Also mentioned are the interpretation of human brain on written language, the book "Pride and Prejudice," by Jane Austen, and the discrepancies of using e-books leading to haptic dissonance.
