Abstract

This article reports on the success of Procter and Gamble Co.'s sales promotion tour and special events program for its Charmin brand of toilet paper. The tour reached 20 million consumers at 20 events all over the United States, including the Super Bowl football game in San Diego, California, and state fairs.
