Abstract: This article reports on the publication of papers from a 1989 conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, entitled Occupational Education: International Perspectives in the Winter 1990 issue of the Journal of Studies in Technical Careers. Appropriately, attention centers on rapid changes in science, technical and language education, given current moves toward a more integrated global economy.
