GfK finds top European growth among lenses.

Abstract

The article reports on a finding by GfK that licensed brand frames and sunglasses are struggling while lenses continue to underpin the European optical market. According to GfK's head of spectacle research Giampaolo Falconio, with sales of 7.3bn Euro, the European market remained stable in the first half of 2013. It is mentioned that clear areas of growth in the optical practice is observed by Gfk although most European economies had a negative outlook.
