From an empirical research conducted in the editorial Gerais of the newspaper Estado de Minas, this paper aims to investigate the determination of the sources of information in the newspaper in accordance with a theoretical background based on the hermeneutics of the event. This analytical anchoring emerges as a counterpoint of ritualistic approach to the modeling of the sources of certain agenda - kind of approach that focuses sources framed on specific models settled in work routines. Through the prism hermeneutic such sources given stability in accordance of event conduction in daily life and in journalistic bureau.
