Water conservation is now a real and growing need due to shortages in supply sources, is the lack of quality or quantity in hydrography. This is on the assumption that water is the most precious gift to humanity and its use is complete and indispensable to the survival of all species on planet earth included. The rural practice, especially of agriculture, uses most of this good to the production of food. It seeks to accomplish this work an analysis f water use in rural areas, investigating its intrinsic use and forms of employment and reuse, aiming, also, problems involving the water crisis and alternatives to maintain this resource through which rural practices seek sustainable development and preservation of natural resources.
