Minerals of the KAOKOVELD DISTRICT Kunene Region, Namibia.

The article considers Namibia as a major source of collector-quality mineral specimens, especially the secondary base metal minerals, and offers information on the Kaokoveld mining district which is located in the Kunene region of northwestern Namibia. It discusses the copper-rich mineralization in the Kunene Copper Belt in Namibia and describes minerals found in the region including bismutite, bornite and calcite, and also presents photographs of these minerals.
