Abstract

The article discusses a study which analyzed the influence of the natural course of cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) on the long-term outcome after surgery. Records of 52 patients with CSM after surgery were analyzed by the researchers. The researchers concluded that the anterior approach is an effective procedure to improve the symptoms of a CSM.
