Abstract
- Highlights: [•] A new hierarchical lattice truss composite with sandwich walls was designed and manufactured. [•] Strength and deformation characteristics of the hierarchical composites were revealed by tests. [•] Qualitative model was proposed to describe the deformation plateau of the composites.
