Abstract
- The article focuses on unique licensing policy in Great Britain. It states that the country's government has proprietary rights to the petroleum reserves and compelled to turn to private companies who hold most of the financial and technical means needed for the exploration and exploitation of petroleum resources. It further discusses the Petroleum (Production) Act 1934 and petroleum production licenses.
