Reading Habits of Senior Secondary Students at Allahabad City, U.P., India.

The article presents a study on the reading habits of senior secondary students at five secondary schools at Allahabad City in Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), India. The study found that a majority of the students' mother tongue is Hindi and that reading motives are getting the information and improving the general knowledge. The article also offers suggestions to improve the students' reading habits, including adequate reading area and selection in the library, and forming book-discussion-clubs.
