Abstract
- Highlights: [•] We model computationally three-dimensional random fiber networks. [•] Apparent elastic stiffness components C1111 and C1212 are computed. [•] Stiffness decreases with higher scale, orientation angle and void volume fraction. [•] Scatter decreases with higher scale, orientation angle and void volume fraction. [•] Dangling fibers influence apparent stiffness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
