Abstract
- The article discusses diagnostic test for conjunctivitis. It describes the red eye protocol used by technicians to determine whether conjunctivitis is of allergic, viral or bacterial origin wherein the patient is given the point of care diagnostic test using AdenoPlus or Nicox. The prescribed treatments of topical antibiotics, steroids, antihistamines and cool compress relief based on test findings are also presented.
