Abstract
- Highlights: [•] An ecological model focusing on the dynamic of phosphorus cycling was developed for Lake Chaohu. [•] Six restoration strategies for Lake Chaohu were predicted by this model in long-term simulation. [•] Structural dynamic approach was introduced into the algae – submerged vegetation transition. [•] Response of SDMs to different intensity in changes of forcing function was tested. [•] SDMs with different parameter sets included were conducted and the results were compared.
