Abstract
- In the paper by E. M. Apfelbaum and V. S. Vorobiev [1], it was shown that the critical isotherms of real pure gases coincide with the corresponding isotherms of the classical distribution of Bose-Einstein type for fractional dimension (fractional number of degrees of freedom). For isotherms with T < T, this coincidence no longer occurs, and for some gases the discrepancy is considerable. In the paper, the law of preference of cluster formation over passage to liquid state is used to deduce equations that give a good coincidence for these isotherms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
