Marisa Acocella Marchetto.

A biography of cartoonist Marisa Acocella Marchetto is presented. She was born in the early 1960s and grew up in Roselle Park, New Jersey where her father was a pharmacist. She made her debut with the women's fashion magazine "Mirabella" and introduced an original cartoon character known as SHE. She was diagnosed by breast cancer in 2004. She documented her experience related to cancer treatment in cartoon form which appeared in women's magazine "Glamour" as comic spread called "Cancer Vixen."
