Abstract

The article focuses on the literary works of Dante Alighieri, Italian poet, which includes "Convivio," "Comedy," and "Monarchy." It discusses the differences between "Comedy" and "Monarchy" stating that the "Monarchy" is the treatise of political philosophy while the "Comedy" appears as a religious epic discussing the theological and moral teachings of Christianity. It states that both the books approaches the study of politics and are the only books that Dante has completed in his life.
